Frédéric Forest
Frédéric Forest is a French artist based in Paris. Born in Annecy in the French Alps, he studied industrial design at ENSCI – Les Ateliers before co-founding the design studio Forest & Giaconia with Clémentine Giaconia in 2008. After years working at the intersection of design and visual culture, he now dedicates his practice primarily to drawing and painting from his studio in Paris’s 15th arrondissement. His work explores the dialogue between illustration, art, and design—disciplines he approaches as complementary languages that continually inform one another. Forest’s drawings have been exhibited internationally, including at the Contemporary Art Center of Briançon in 2025 and during Art Basel Miami. He has collaborated with clients such as Chanel, Bang & Olufsen, Kinfolk, Vogue, Lancôme, Polène, Selfridges, and Skims.
“My work sits between drawing, illustration, art, and design—each discipline offering a new perspective on the others.”
